Verifying that SANsurfer Identifies the Overland Devices
1 Launch the SANsurfer utility again.
2 In the left pane, click Hostname <server>, and then click the Topology
tab in the right pane to display the ports attached to the HBA.
3 Click the first available port name, and then click the LUN List tab in
the right pane.
In the following example, the first port is the REO.
The following ports and LUNs represent the devices for the REO:
! Port name. Tape (10-00-00-06-2B-09-70-B5): Online, Diag Enabled
! LUN (0). Standalone REO disk
! LUN (1). Standalone virtual tape
! LUN (196). Virtual tape-library (NEO SERIES)
! LUN (197). Virtual tape-drive (HP Ultrium 2-SCSI)
4 Click the next available port name, and then click LUN List in the right
pane.
In the following example, the second device port is the NEO 2000.
! Port name. Device (21-00-00-10-86-12-55-34): Online, Diag Enabled
! LUN (0). HP Ultrium 2-SCSI
! LUN (1). Overland NEO SERIES
