Verifying that Windows Recognizes the Overland

Devices

1 Launch the Computer Management program, click Device Manager,

and make sure that the various Overland devices are listed under Disk

drives, Medium Changers, and Tape Drives.

2 To determine which device is for the physical library (NEO 2000) and

which is for the virtual library (REO), double-click each Medium Changer

device and view the properties.

The first medium changer uses LUN 196; this represents the REO VTL.

Double-click one of the tape drives, and notice LUN 197, which

represents the virtual tape-drive assigned to the VTL.
